What is Odoo?

Odoo is our choice as a product for managing business enterprises with comprehensive management platforms, better known as ERPs. When used and configured properly, Odoo allows for complete management of all departments, resources, and personnel in a company, providing efficiency and organization in its management. Nothing is beyond the reach of the product, which allows for the installation of functionalities in a modular way according to the needs, enabling the management of products, clients, sales/purchases, warehouse, invoicing, accounting, or hundreds of custom-developed applications to cover any aspect within the scope of business management.

Do you need to install Odoo?

Odoo has both enterprise and community versions. In this guide, we will install the free version for the community on a CentOS operating system. We will not delve into all the issues associated with an installation in a real environment that needs to provide service in production. Therefore, we recommend following the steps below for testing environments.
